Rose Pandora Style Bracelet

Rose Pandora Style Bracelet

It has to be the easiest way to make jewellery but don’t knock it, the simplicity of a Pandora style bead bracelet means that you can take it to bits and change the look in a heartbeat. Add a few extra beads or a different charm to the snake bracelet, or take off the beads and use them for a necklace  for a couple of days.

For the bracelet pictured, I have made charms out of Venetian Glass hearts, and little silver plated lockets, to give a twist of originality to my jewellery making.

Many more Pandora style jewellery kits are to be found at Bluestreak Beads

Hug & Kiss Bead

What a perfect little pressie for someone on Valentine’s Day! A bead with the symbol for a hug on one side and a kiss on the other. It certainly won’t break the bank at only £4.99

The “Hug & Kiss Bead” is hand made of sterling silver, thread it on to a simple snake chain or a rubber bracelet with silver clasps, pop it into a box and hand it over on the most romantic day of the year. I reckon it would be a lovely present to give your Mum…..Ah.

It’s not all about Making Jewellery Try a Beaded Hairband

February 6, 2010 at 12:07 pm | Beads, Tiara making

Bored of making earrings?  Got some spare beads to use up, a bit of jewellery making  wire hanging around cluttering up your workbox. Here is a way to use them up and make something pretty and practical.

Tiara Hairband with beads

Tiara Hairband with beads

You will need a tiara band or you could use a narrow alice band if you have one.

Simply wrap the band with the jewellery wire adding the beads to the topside as you go.

I’ve used millifiore beads and various heart shaped beads for this one.

You can buy this beaded hairband kit here.
