Large wooden beads are really handy when making the current big beaded necklaces. They are light, realtively cheap, bright colourful beads.

Silver & Purple Bead Necklace

There are lots of new kits going on the site at the moment including this chunky silver and purple bead necklace.
We’ve used the lightweight silver spirit beads along with large acrylic and wooden beads for a rich colourmix.
This is an easy project with which to start learning to make jewellery. All you need are basic jewellery making pliers, or crimpers if you prefer a fancier finish.
Diamante spacer rondelles

New this week are these cute little shiny sparkly rondelle spacers. They are just perfect to pop between pearls or other beads when you want an extra bit of glamour in your jewellery making creations.
We sell these beads in Crystal AB and 5 other popular colours.
They are made with tiny crystals in silver plated castings and measure 5.5mm across.

I know that you are swimming with amazing ideas for beaded jewellery but I always find it useful to see what other makers are creating. Maybe some of our jewellery making kits can inspire you to make up something different for your stall next weekend.
This necklace kit uses thonging which means that you can tie it off and fasten it at any length!

We have our pretty glass leaf pendants back in stock. They have been away for quite a while but after a run of requests we decided to get them back on the site.
These little leaves come in an assortment or by individual colour. They are great for delicate necklaces or charm bracelets.

They are great for lightweight floater necklaces and bracelets. Beads with holes this size are also handy for leather thongs or any of the thicker stringing materials.
The frosted finish imparts a lovely beach-worn glass look to the beads

Try making this pretty floater necklace using our new wooden beads and shell discs.

Floaty Summer Bead Necklace
The shell beads are available in peachy and purple tones which blend really well with the satin finish of the wood, add a few spacers and miyuki cubes and you have a simple jewellery making project for the weekend.
To make your piece of jewellery use beadalon thread and crimps to fix each bead in place.
Finish with a lobster clasp and extender chain.
New Charm Necklace Kit in Vintage Gold

If an accessory is not big and beady this year it has to be pretty and vintage. So we have come up with this lovely antique gold necklace kit, laden with little charms and finished with millifiore beads to decorate the chain.
Make something similar using the antique gold figaro chain and a collection of lightweight charms and beads mixed with stampings.

Here is a neat way to use up all your bead odds and ends. Make a pretty beaded kilt pin! You can mix and match your beads as long as you do it with style.
We made one using some of our huge collection of beads witha pretty bohemian feel. It looked good pinned on a fabric bag or try it on a denim jacket.Categories
