Making and Paying for your Order
Making a purchase is simple, browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Our minimum order value is £5.
We accept credit card payment (visa and mastercard), postal orders and cheques. All transactions are carried out in UK Pound Stirling (£).

When confirmation of order is received, this is to inform you that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Foreign Orders, Republic if Ireland, Channel Islands and EU
Postage is charged at cost. Orders are sent by most cost effective, insured means available, normally internation priority signed for mail through the Royal Mail. If goods are needed very quickly we can quote for alternative delivery methods.
EU customers must provide a valid VAT number if they wish to have no VAT charge on orders
The easiest method of payment for international orders is by credit card. Euros, dollars or any other foreign currency are not accepted. Your credit card company will convert at the prevailing rate of exchange. We do not accept cheques or money orders drawn on foreign banks.
Please note that all import taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Despatch & Delivery
We deliver your order as quickly as we can. We aim to despatch goods within 1-2 working days of receipt of your order. Delivery is by Royal mail 1st class post or by courier. There is also the option of Special delivery for urgent orders.
We deliver your purchase to the address that you provide. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that this is correct and includes any flat numbers as well as the correct postcode. If the wrong address is provided Bluestreak Beads are not responsible for non delivery. The Royal Mail will only compensate if the address is correct.
If you are in doubt please check your postcode on the Royal Mail website. If you call us we will do this for you.
Below are prices for standard size packages. This covers 99.9% of orders. If your goods are unusually heavy and the cost of shipping is not covered within our usual terms we will telephone you to let you know what the extra cost will be before we send it.
Purchases up to £30 are charged at £1.75
Purchases over £30 are delivered FREE (Within the UK mainland)
For special delivery before 1pm the next day, £5.50 is the cost
This applies to items sent out Monday to Thursday. Items sent special delivery on Friday get delivered on Monday by the royal mail.
For special delivery on Saturday by 1pm £7.95 is the cost
Special delivery will always require a signature upon receipt. You will need to order before 1pm to ensure that you get special delivery. The service is Royal Mail special delivery. This is available Monday to Friday (delivery next WORKING day) If you need a delivery for Saturday it is a different service (special delivery Saturday morning which costs £7.95)
We will deliver anywhere in the world. Prices start from just £7.95 and are charged at cost. If your postage costs are lower than £7.95 we will refund the difference to you. If the cost of posting your items is higher we will inform you and ask you to pay the extra.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be sent a note with your order with the option to cancel your back order if you would rather not wait, in which case you will be refunded
Returns & Refunds
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your beads. If you have ordered something that is not suitable you can return it within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. The goods must be returned in perfect and unused condition. Please pack them carefully and enclose your order number and a note of explanation. Remember that they are your responsibility until we receive them back in our offices so you might want to use recorded delivery to return them.
Postage and Packing charges are only refundable for manufacturing faults, damage to goods, errors of description or in other circumstances at our discretion.
Shortages
Please notify us by email or telephone of any shortages within 3 days of receiving your goods. All of our orders are picked and then double checked to ensure that these are at a bare minimum.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach the payment processor (sagepay). They are not held in clear text on any web site. We cannot see your credit card number at any time.
Privacy Policy
Bluestreak Beads do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
